  Go Avon Pediactrics if you only want to see a nurse because the doctors are never in the office. The nurse is also a lactation consultant that will force her views on you. She would rather impose her own views over the health of a child. My daughter was born on a Thursay, I was told to call Monday morning to bring her in on Monday. I called first thing Monday morning and was told there were no available appointments after I was guaranteed they would have an opening for us. The first appointment with either of the doctors wouldn't be until Wednesday. Very unprofessional. I immediately called Dr Binder who actually saw my daughter in the hospital. I explained the situation to them and that I wanted to come to his practice. I was put on hold then told that Dr Binder could not take my daughter as a paitent as it was a conflict of interest. His office being so close to Avon Pediactrics. As a new mom It was very upsetting. My daughter wasn't getting enough milk and she hadn't been seen since we left the hospital. Avon Pediactrics wouldn't see us for a few days and another doctor that we like told us he would not see my daughter. Not 20 minutes after my call with Dr Binder's office I got a call from Avon Pediactrics. I could bring my daughter in at four that day. At our visit we learned that our daughter had already lost 10% of her body weight. We were told to supplement with formula using a a dropper by the nurse/lactation consultant. What a joke. The formula just poured out of my daughter's mouth. They set us up with an appointment for Thurday, again with the nurse not with either one of the doctors. That night the dropper with the formula was not working. I made the decision to put the nipple on the mini supplement bottle to feed my daughter except the nurse had taken it out of the package! Any way the next morning I called Dr Kallor at Pediatric Partners. We saw him that day. Dr. Kallor is a Phenomenal Doctor. Best decision ever.
